At Katie’s Bunny Burrow, our mission is simple: to give every rabbit the chance of a safe, happy and loved life.

Based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, the rescue is run by Katie, with the support of her husband Tom. Together for 17 years, with two children and a home already full of animals, caring for animals has always been a big part of our family life — and the Burrow is very much a family affair.

We rescue and support rabbits who, for many different reasons, find themselves in need of a new home. We provide them with a safe place to stay, the care they need and plenty of love while we work to find the right forever home for them.

Everything we do is guided by the welfare of the rabbits in our care. We take the time to understand each rabbit’s individual personality and needs, making sure our adoptions are about finding the right home, not simply the quickest one.

We also want to create a better future for rabbits beyond the Burrow. By sharing advice, promoting responsible rabbit ownership and helping people understand their welfare needs, we hope to improve the lives of rabbits throughout our community.
