Our Sanctuary Bunnies
Some rabbits who come into our care need a little more than a new home. Due to complex or ongoing health needs, rehoming isn’t always the right option for them. These special bunnies become our sanctuary residents, remaining with Katie’s Bunny Burrow for the rest of their lives.
Our sanctuary bunnies receive all the love, comfort and specialist care they need, including regular veterinary treatment, medication and ongoing monitoring. Whatever their needs, our priority is making sure they can enjoy the happiest and most comfortable life possible.
Caring for sanctuary rabbits can come with significant ongoing costs, but we believe every bunny deserves a safe place to call home — no matter how complicated their needs may be. ❤️

Meet Our Rabbits

Storm
Storm’s name suits her personality perfectly. She is very confident and inquisitive rabbit who can be a little chaotic! Storm is blind, has irregular heart rhythm and is prone to chest infections.

Isaac
Isaac was unexpectedly brought to us one morning after being found on a main road. His eye severely damaged to the point of it needing to be removed. Isaac has been bravely fighting infection, abscesses and illness since. He is now totally blind and will require a lot of care and attention for the rest of his life.

Ellie
Ellie came to us after living terrible conditions for many years. During a routine spay operation multiple tumours were found and sadly the cancer has progressed so far that it is now untreatable. Ellie has limited mobility due to being kept in poor conditions, arthritis and the cancer. Ellie will live the rest of her life receiving pain relief, comfort and love.

Primrose
Primrose is an older rabbit who has arthritis affecting the use of her front leg, as well a broken toe due to previous trauma that never healed correctly. She is now bonded with one of our pet rabbits and she is very happy and content.

Socks
Socks is partially blind and has a very prominent head tilt, however it has not stopped him from adapting and managing his condition. He is sweet and gentle and loves to flop in the sunshine.
